The Gift Who Doesn't Want to be Opened

“Hoorraayy!!!” shouted Lisa, a small gift wrapped in red dots with a neatly big tied ribbon on her head. “My turn! My turn!” she was excited. Little hands picked her up. “At last!” she exclaimed as she was slowly lifted up under the Christmas tree. “Farewell everyone! See you all in Gift Heaven! I will miss you all! Her eyes poured little tears as she waved her ribbons to them goodbye.

“When will I be?” asked Zen wrapped with multi-colored triangles and stars to the other bunch of gifts. Zen was Lisa’s best friend for at least five weeks after they were wrapped and placed below the Christmas tree two days after when Lisa was taken. “I miss my friend,” she thought to herself. “Lisa was been a good friend even only, for that shortest time. We spend talking, displaying, exhibiting our colors with one another. “She is annoying!” Sandra wrapped with slanted blue lines said. “She tells me all over again and again, that, I – am – fat! Look at me… Do I look fat?” She displayed herself to the other gifts. “No you’re not,” Doti wrapped with checkered green patterns said.

“Yes you are!” shouted Tondi, Doti’s twin wrapped also in checkered yellow patterns. “Fat Sandra!” Tondi teased Sandra. “Stop that!” Tel shouted wrapped with brown and orange squares. “Oh yeah? Look at yourself! Thin! You’re thin! Hahahahaha!” laughed Tondi. Sandra was crying. “I may be thin, but…” Tel’s sentence got broken when Tondi interrupted, “You’re just thin. That’s all! So keep quite. Thank you!” Everyone became silent. “Just look at Dave! The gift who doesn’t want to be opened!!!” Tondi pointed at Dave wrapped entirely in red. Sandra approached Dave. “Why should you worry about that fancy wrapper?” Sandra rubbing her ribbon over her teary eyes. “Dave – you’re the most beautifully and elegantly wrapped gift that I have ever seen. You should be glad for that. Look at me. Tondi’s teasing me. I am fat and that’s a fact fat!” They laughed. “Look at yourself!”

Tondi slept murmuring the words fat and thin. “Fat Sandra… Thin Tel…” The following day… “Me, me, me, me, me, me!” Tondi muttering. The fingers touched Tondi but it turned to Doti. Doti smiled. He was taken. “See you all at Gift heaven!” he farewelled. Sandra was singing, “Get me…! Anybody? Take me… I am big can’t you all see…?

Five days before Christmas, Zen was taken.
Four days before Christmas, Sandra – finally.
Three days before Christmas, Tel was taken.
Two days before Christmas, Tondi at last.

Dave was left under the big Christmas tree. “Am I special? But why I am left alone?” The glowing and flickering lights flashed brilliantly to the lonely remaining gift – Dave, waiting. “When?” he thought to himself. He slept. Time passed. He woke up. It was Christmas Eve. “Now I’m taken… Finally…”

I Saw Santa

Jason was only seven years old when Mrs. El Valde, 40 years of age adopted him. One week passed. The child was now calling her mama. “Mama! Mama!” He was pulling her mother’s skirt. “Mama! Mama! I saw Santa!” “Where?” her mother asked. “Right there! Behind mama’s head! Mama! Mama! I’ll go catch Santa. May I?” he asked. But her mother was busy talking to an old man. She did not notice her son got away. “Santa! Santa! Wait for me!!!” Jason ran on the street. An old worried woman was racing with him. “Stop that child!” she was shouting. “Stop the child!” She screamed. “Noooooohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Everyone heard a heavy screech of the tires of a big truck. “Jason!!!” her mother screamed. “Where’s my son? Where did he go? Have you seen him?” she asked the old man whom she’s talking. “Where did he go? Where is he?” She was heavily crying asking strangers she passes by gossiping after the accident. “Have you seen my son? Have you seen my son? Have you seen my son?” She was asking persons over and over again.

She heard the screeching of the tires a minute ago. Her head ached. “Pls. God! Not my son. Not Jason. Not my son.” She turned her head to the crowd. She saw Jason waving his arms behind them. She closed her eyes to say thank you and after opening it – Jason was gone. She approached the crowd of people encircling around looking at something. She managed herself to pass through. She covered her mouth by her palms and breathed heavily, gasping. “Oh God! No! No!” Her eyes widened and tears started pouring out. She cried and screamed.

“Jaaasssooonnn!!!!!!!” She cried and cried. She kneeled down and hugged her son tightly. “No! No! Why? Why Jason?” She could not believe her son dead. “You’re not dead my son. You’re not dead. You’re still breathing… You’re still alive. Call an ambulance! Somebody! Call an ambulance!!! Anyone?” She screamed again. “Please!!! No!!!!!!!!!” The snow fell down. She can only look at her son’s eyes, rubbing his hair and cuddling him over her arms. The crowd just watched over them while others joined her crying. All heard the church’s bells ringing and the song - Silent Night from the choir was sung and she joined singing the song to her son. The crowd joined singing with her.

Silent night, holy night…
All is calm, all is bright…
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child…
Holy infant so tender and mild…
Sleep in heavenly peace…
Sleep in heavenly peace…

“I was careless. If I have keep my eyes over him, he would not be dead.” She cried…

The Pie That Made Us Quarrel

The kitchen’s smell of a newly freshly baked pie taken out from the oven traveled through a pleasant fragrant white smoke of Mrs. Lengton’s opened window to her backyard. “Arf! Arf!” barked her dog Wustam. “Meow! Meow!” Leviene her cat. She left the pie on the table and went out of the kitchen.

“Delicately delicious!” said Wustam lying inside his doghouse. “Pleasantly tasteful! Wonderful!!!” said Leviene walking back and forth on the branches of an acorn tree near Wustam’s doghouse.

Wustam popped his head out of the doghouse and turned his head from left to right checking if there are any hindrance to his evil pie plan especially Leviene. “No obstacles! Where – is – Leviene?” asked Wustam. He stepped slowly out of the doghouse. Half of his body could be see outside. He raised his head up to see any sign of a cat on the branches of the tree. Leviene suddenly hid herself. “You can’t find me…” she whispered behind a big branch of the tree. “No Leviene!” Wustam exclaimed.

Wustam sang, “I’m gonna get it! I’m gonna eat it! Yeppie! Yeyeye! I love Pies! I love eating… I love Leviene.” Wustam danced like crazy, jumping and turning around and around outside his doghouse. “Let’s just see!” Leviene said and secretly took tiny steps to a branch that leads near the windowpane to the kitchen while Wustam got over excited. “Now pie… You are mine!!! Forever!!! Ah – I mean… this time!!!” she laughed like devil. She reached near the window. The tip of the branch was swinging. She continued laughing aloud. “Hahahahaha!!!” Wustam suddenly stopped his dance craze after hearing Leviene’s laugh and he ran hurriedly through the kitchen door.

Leviene jumped from the tip of the branch to the window. Their heartbeats beat fast and the clock slowly tick-tock, tick-tock like slow motion. Wustam managed to jump from the floor to the nearest chair to the table where he thought there is the pie. However, Leviene already got it before he managed to reach the tabletop. “Nanananana!” Leviene sang, “I got my self a pie! I got my self a pie!” “Grrrrr….” The angry Wustam tried to reach Leviene with his right foot but Leviene jumped out of the window. Wustam followed. They raced from the acorn tree down the vegetable garden then to the flowers around and around and back and forth the entire backyard.

They gasped. They became tired. They stopped running and stood static for a minute and after sometime – they started racing again. Mrs. Lengton arrived from the grocery and went to the kitchen to see her beloved pie. “Wher – Is – My – Pie??!!!” she angrily shouted. Wustam and Leviene heard it loud. They paused. The pie was munched a bit both on their mouths and after seeing Mrs. Lengton, they both slowly dropped the pie and opened their mouths big and their eyes wide. They were shocked. Mrs. Lengton was shocked also. “Oh no? My desperate pathetic pie!!!” she exclaimed and approached Wustam and Leviene. She picked the pie up, broke it to halves, and said. “Come on… go eat it! Christmas is coming. Just don’t quarrel… Okay?” Wustam and Leviene nodded yes and enjoyed eating the pie. “Delicately delicious!” said Wustam. “Pleasantly tasteful! Wonderful!!!” said Leviene.

The Rocker, Ashtir and the I Wish book

There was once a book that was kept by everyone. Of course, not mentioning babies and small children who do not know how to write yet. It’s possible for them to write only if older persons guide them. Cut with the introduction. This nonsense is still part of the intro. There were two different persons. The Rocker named Snare and the noble, Ashtir. They were both different persons as mentioned again – but what’s similar with the two is that they both own an ‘I Wish Book’. The best-selling book on the market that was really odd to be called a best seller because it contains nothing. Not the word referring to not any thing. Well, if you look at the dictionary, nothing and not any thing means the same actually. It contains nothing but only blank pages waiting to be written and vandalized by someone. Can’t still get it? Never mind. Just continue reading.

An 18 year old curious Ashtir had her I Wish Book already for four months and 35% of the pages were written insignificantly with her fictitious hopes, wishes and dreams in comparison with the rules, guidelines and reminders written on the second page basically after the title. These are some items on the list …

How to Write Your Dreams on the “I Wish Book”:
-Write legibly
-Be honest
-Be sincere
-Be factual, not fictitious
-Hope and pray
…And the last phrase, Enjoy writing!

After reading this things- she started writing her dreams every time she wakes up. Every time there are problems. Every time she hopes. Every time she dreams. Every time when she just want to write. Every time before she sleeps. After writing, she hides her book under her pillows and sleep.

So much with Ashtir, how about the Rocker – Snare. He’s already 21 years old and is a member of an unknown lousy band that plays too worst and terrible song numbers. He only dreamed of performing on the stage where there are people crowding, cheering, jumping and shouting over him. Throwing stones excluded. Too weird because all the other members of their band named ‘Frigid’ also own their individual I Wish Book’s.

These are some wishes they have written on their books:
Cym – I wish to become a superstar.
Snare – I wish to be heard.
Tom – I wish to rule the earth with my music.
Tar – I wish to rock the world.
Org – I wish to play music on the moon. First time in history!

You may stop reading because the following paragraphs will be boring. Snare and Ashtir were meant for each other, so – so that this story will be much longer… romance will happen to them.

The typical story telling… One day, Ashtir was in the park with her grandmother (let’s be swift) when she saw Snare behind them and hear his voice while he was singing nearby the bench from where she was sitting with her grandmother and waiting for someone to arrive until Snare approached her while continuing singing and picked a flower from the garden with a sign, “Don’t pick flowers. Fine: 300 tokens” and gave it to Ashtir. Let’s put a period. Ashtir’s grandmother felt tremendously in-love. Ashtir was shocked. “Eeeeeeeehhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” she shouted and smiled and smelled the flowers and said, “Thank you!” “How sweet!” commented her grandmother. I have not mentioned Ashtir’s dream – this was what she has written on her I Wish Book.

‘This Christmas, I wish to find the man of my life…’

And on this very beautiful day – she found him, Snare. And they had two children and they live – wait… Snare was now a successful single artist awarded ‘Artist of the Year’… And they live happily ever after.

Frigid Part 2

Lots of wrong sentence structure, I am revising. Just wait.

“Let go!”
“I will never.”
“Just let go.”
“I will never forgive my self if I will let go of you now. Grab my hand!”
“I can’t reach.”

Thirty-three years later. December. The snow fell down. The last portal opened and sank slowly the whole city of Entrania. The whole dessert was magically covered in deep white cold snow subdued a hundred feet and a mysterious fog was encircling under the crater. Rock boulders fall as the ground mildly shake and when it touches the fog, it ripples around like water. Frigid was lying on the ground gripping Liana’s hand. “Take my hand!” he shouted. “I could not hold much longer,” Liana cried. “Don’t say that,” Frigid worried. “But my arms are tired,” said Liana. “Just try,” he cried. “Just try. Never let go.” Liana raised her right arm to reach Frigid but as she tried to – her left hand slipped down.

The hundred million Flying Knights Squadron gracefully fly in the setting of the sun while the servants of fire astoundingly blow heavy flames and pour droplets of molten materials as they approached the city of Entrania. It burned the forests outside the city. Fire poured like rain. It slowly burned the houses they have passed. The Unicorns of the Squadron formed straight lines forming a giant square while the Phoenixes scattered unarranged in the sky. Andrade the leader of the Squadron was outside the line. The Phoenixes do not have their leader. They were magically under a spell of the Dark Lord. The birds aggressively bite and blow flames with each other. The heaviest blow of the wind could not put off the burning bodies of the angry Phoenixes. Their eyes colored red were glaring hot and extremely torrid while the fire that covers their body burn hotter than the sun that could scorched an object at their single touch making the matter in such a short moment be turned to dust and dissolved completely in air.

The people of Entrania panicked. The ones who are not alarmed above where the Phoenixes fly were completely burned. Those Entranians who have seen the Squadron marching like they were on a flat ground successfully packed their things and hurried out of the city. Others fled riding their Unicorns, Entrols, Gotians and other creatures that can fly or even just run on the ground of the earth or on the air and the sky and on the water and the sea while others joined on the Squadron – those who are brave enough. So they wear the best armor and wield the best weapon and other equipments from their storage areas and bravely stood outside an open space and waited for the signal of their attack.

Farewell to their loved ones and as they rose above the ground waving their hands to their escaping families telling, “I will be safe… I will never forget you… Do not worry… I will return… Even if I die, I will always be with you.” And the words that rose sweeter and burning in the halfway point of war, “I Love You!” Those who could not fly prepared their strings and bows to be of help on the soldiers above. Helpless children ran over the streets crying, “Mama!” “Papa!” “I’m scared,” as they hid over the coverings they thought could protect them. Those who were lucky enough were picked up and brought by strangers with them and those who felt hopeless stayed on their homes and slept with their children of thinking that there’s no hope at all.

“For Entrania!” shouted Andrade. And the troops met the Phoenixes. The battle lasted about seven hours after when the Dark Lord ordered his birds to retreat. He had fished his ritual on opening the last portal. He performed the ritual on his castle’s lair, a secret underground from where Frigid and Liana had been. Frigid took a sword and fought with all his might with the Dark Lord. “You could not kill me! Hahahaha!” the Lord devilishly laughed as he hit Frigid on his right leg. Frigid backed-out limping. “I can!” Frigid angrily shouted as he threw the sword directly to the Dark Lord’s heart. The Lord revealed his face before Frigid. “The Supervisor???” Frigid puzzled. “You-are-dead!” he kneeled down and pointed his staff towards Frigid. It emitted a powerful wave. Liana pushed Frigid away from the casting line and Liana was hit. She received a wound on her shoulder. Rocks fell off the ceiling and the pillars dropped. The ground was quaking and the floors crust cracked. The place is going to collapse.

“You should go!”
“No!”
“I will never leave you!”

He lifted Liana up and placed her over his arms and walked slowly to the portal exit before the under-throne was completely destroyed. They were outside the gates of the Dark Lord’s castle. Frigid took the green crystal from his pouch and said, “I want to know my aim.” The crystal stretched a laser-like glowing line pointing to a distant island. Frigid whispered on the crystal, “Blue – help us…” and he fell on the ground unconscious. Blue immediately arrived, healed Frigid and Liana’s wounds and take them to Entrania. Blue accidentally fell off while flying near the subdued city of Entrania when a tornado swallowed them. They fell off; Frigid was lying on the ground gripping Liana’s hand. Has it ended?

The Elf's Invitation

They were best of friends until one day – both fell in-love with the same elf, Tnagele.

“Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way…” caroled the little children elves before the Mayor Cesy’s home. The mayor gave them her homemade fruit-flavored candies. The children happily received their delicacies each and ran to a nearby house in front of the Mayor’s house and started singing again. Their lives Zchuby who had a friend Cloyotie. They both live on the same house. They were best of friends until one day – both fell in-love with the same elf, Tnagele – the daughter of the Mayor Cesy.

The three both entered the Nick-Steff College just located east from their houses in the Damsel’s Bush Street. Cloyotie hated Zchuby because of his ignorance when it comes to their friendship. The whole Elfianville know the two as friends but there are certain times when their quarrel gets worst and the two don’t own the initiative of talking and finding a solution to their problem.

Cloyotie always thought of Zchuby’s ignorance when they are in school. The two elves go together but there are instances when aliens invade and the two could not contradict or do anything about the matter. The elf named Princess is one hindrance to their friendship as Mrs. Cesy approves so, after when the mayor ordered them to be taken to the forgiveness cell. After this, the two can easily forgive and forget. The process cycled over and over again. So when the two fight again – they will be taken to the cell so they could reflect and tell each their acceptance of peace.

Zchuby and Cloyotie quarreled not much worst than before after when they meet Tnagele, the most beautiful elf in their school. The two never talked with each other when Cloyotie started courting Tnagele. The jealous Zchuby did his own technique of courtship. Everyday, Zchuby gave Tnagele a bunch of flowers while Cloyotie does the same and Tnagele whole-heartedly accepted the gifts of the two.

Came the Nick-Steff College’s Yearly Christmas Ball. Zchuby invited Tnagele and Cloyotie did also the same thing. Sad to say, Zchuby was the one to first invite Tnagele on the Ball and Cloyotie after. So Tnagele gone with Zchuby. It broke Cloyotie’s heart.

Cloyotie was alone sitting on a table when he saw Gianne Lorraine, Tnagele’s best friend. He was deeply infatuated. He approached Gianne, took her hand and asked, “Can we dance?” Gianne answered, “Certainly.” And the two danced. After the event, the two friends went home. Zchuby spoke up, “How’s my friend?” “Fine,” answered Cloyotie. “How’s my friend?” asked back Cloyotie “Fine,” answered Zchuby. Friends Forever?” asked Cloyotie. “Friends Forever…” said Zchuby and they made their friendly punch with each other’s hands and together said, “Bloody Fist!!! Friends Forever!!!”

Ladies of the Swamp

It was summer. The breeze was so relaxing. Inhale the air and your lungs will be at ease. Savour the peaceful atmosphere and your eyes will rest to sleep. In the heart of the forest lies a swamp. The most romantic area where lovers are seen. The fragrance of the budding flowers scented the air. Chary plucked the petals of a flower as she settled on a dead bark of a tree under a shade of a pine near the swamp. She was singing. A man secretly hid on camouflage underneath the bushes gazing over her. His tongue could not be untied. He could not speak. His eyes caught a magnetic attractive image below the pine. Chary heard noises coming from the bushes. Curious – she stood up and went to the bushes and, “Eeeeeehhhhhh!!!!!!!” she screamed. Noel immediately covered her mouth, “Shhhh!!! Stop screaming…” but as soon as Noel uncovers Chary’s mouth – she screamed again, “Eeeeeehhhhhh!!!!!!!” “I’m doing you no harm, promise!” said Noel. She screamed again, “Eeeeeehhhhhh!!!!!!!” “Come on, stop screaming, please?” Noel asked. Chary raised her right arm on air and slapped Noel’s face really hard. “Are you watching me over here?” Chary asked. “No! No! Definitely no! I am not. Ah – I mean… yes.” Said Noel. “Eeeeeehhhhhh!!!!!!!” she screamed and slapped Noel’s face again. “I am so sorry but – you are beautiful…” Noel said. Chary blushed after hearing it and bloomed the flowers of the swamp the whole day.

Chary went home singing, happy and in-love. Jezy her twin sister opened the door after knowing that Chary has arrived. “And where you’ve been the whole day?” Jezy asked. “From the swamp…” Chary answered as she smelled her flowers and raised it near Jezy’s nose, “Smell them.” “Fragrant,” said Jezy and asked, “You brought them?” “Yes,” Chary answered.
“From?”
“From someone.”
“Where?”
“The romantic swamp!”
“Given?”
“Yes!”
“By?”
“By Noel!” Chary excitedly shouted and they jumped in circles.
“I’m in-love! Oh Jez I’m in-love!”
“I’m so happy for you…” Jezy hugged her sister.

Jezy went to the swamp one day as they have planned. Chary had gone to the vineyard and Jezy replaced her. “Chary?” asked Noel sitting from the branch of the tree. “Noel, Is that you?” asked Jezy. “Yes!” he answered. The jealous frog hopped on the pond and made the water unclear. Jezy was falling in-love with Noel without the knowledge of her sister as she showed no contradiction – as if. Noel never knew that Chary have a twin sister, Jezy. Noel and Jezy met on the swamp unknown to Chary.

It was winter. The breeze was very cold. Jezy firmly put on her coat and gone to the swamp while remembering tragic things that had happened during fall. The swamp was now so well known. The people of their village managed to build a road with lights to the scenic swamp. Jezy looked at the water-turned-ice and settled on the dead bark of a tree on where Chary could always be seen when she visits the swamp. Jezy and Noel met on the swamp. Jezy invited Noel to see her on the swamp because she wants the truth revealed. Noel informed Chary after when they met in the vineyard. “It was my fault,” she thought to herself. Jezy appeared first and the two settled on the dead bark of a tree. A minute passed – Chary arrived and she saw them. Noel was shocked. Chary angrily approached Jezy and told her, “I am sorry but this Chary is a fake!” with a big slap on her face. “I’m sorry…” Jezy cried and bowed down over Chary and Noel. She ran away. She slowly wiped her eyes from her tears with her napkin and smiled. “At least they were never separated… What a wedding! How I wish it happened to me also this day. How I wish it for my self…” she stood up. “Can I make it come true?” asked a man standing beside her.

Teharu and Yihiko

The midnight breeze was so sad. Three persons mourn over a beautiful lady lying on the sand. Her name was Yihiko, killed by sorrow. There was a knife coated with a silver blade and a gold handle. The blood was fresh, filled all over the blade. The knife was near her hand. Blood spread on her chest. Yihiko’s parents arrived and they cried over the death of their beloved daughter.

Insects quarreled over the light of the lamp placed on the spot where Yihiko’s dead body was seen. A man in sorrow arrived. His name was Teharu. He kneeled down and cried, “I’m so sorry Yihiko.” Tears raced from his eyes.

Yihiko was sitting in the lumps of stones in the seashore crying. She’s been so depressed the whole autumn. The Sakura trees gently detached their leaves from their twigs and as she cried over a lonely tree in the corner of their town. Teharu promised to meet Yihiko under the tree before he will be married to another woman but his promise got broken. Yihiko waited till night sitting on the bench of the tree. She took a piece of paper and printed:

See me at the beach.
Yihiko

She posted the paper on the bark of the tree. Yihiko was missing. Her parents are worried. She did not come home. Iko, Yihiko’s little brother went to the place where he sees her sister always – under the Sakura tree. He looked at the tree but Yihiko was not there. He went closer to the tree and settled on the bench. He lied down over its shade as he saw Yihiko’s note on the tree. Iko went back to their house and told his parents that Yihiko was on the beach.

Teharu after his wedding went to their meeting place and he read Yihiko’s note earlier than Iko. So he went to the beach. “I am coming,” thought Teharu. The wind blew heavier. His eyes caught Yihiko. He was shocked. Yihiko stabbed herself. “NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!” Teharu shouted and he quickly ran to her. Yihiko was dying. “I’ve made my promise. Why can’t you wait?” Teharu asked. “My heart can still wait for you even after death,” Yihiko lost her breath. Teharu pulled off the knife from her left breast and dropped it near her hand. He heard noises. He heard people coming. He hid beside the stones. Yihiko’s parents arrived and they cried over the death of their beloved daughter –Yihiko.
